Hi,
My Premium was built last week (yeah!) and ETA here is 10/25 (which I take with a grain of salt). So I'm starting to get a handle on the Ford Options option now.

Would you be so kind as to look in Smart Vincent and see what the current Options bonus is, if anything? I ordered the car 1/8/22 if that makes any difference.

Our dealer, Mullahey Ford, Arroyo Grande, said they weren't sure they were going to offer the Options plan as the previous one (and their first) "didn't end up so well." I'm speculating that the buyer paid off the balance before the 90 days needed for the dealer to get any rebates.

Is it correct that the dealer doesn't have to offer Ford Options? They've already agreed to x-plan pricing.

Thanks in advance for your help.
If I understand correctly from what I read in other threads, it doesn't matter what are the current bonus/incentives. If you placed your order on 01/08/2022, dealer should honor the incentives at that time. Now, the dealer doesn't have to offer those to you, you have to be aware of it and ask for it, push back, etc (the endless "buying a car at a dealer" game).

In order for the dealer to be able to see those incentives, they need to go in the Smart Vincent system and check incentives at the time you placed the order. If it doesn't show up, then its probably because their Smart Vincent is out of date. They will need to update it in order to be able to see it.

My Premium (ordered 02/14) also shipped last week (ETA 10/29) and I already asked these questions to my sales rep, who is the Sales Manager. I'm still waiting for an answer, will update when he gets back to me. He said he would "investigate" and let me know. Supposedly interest rate for the Premium at that time was 2.49% and $2,000 cash incentive. X-Plan in my state is $1,778 rebate for the Premium RWD

Hello

Do you know if one were to purchase a MME that was ordered by another customer (who gave up the vehicle), if they would be allowed to take advantage of the same financing/options offers that were available at the time when the original customer ordered it? If the finance person at the Dealership looked into Smart Vincent would they be able to pull that up? I guess my question is whether those terms are linked to the vehicle itself and not the customer..

Hope that made sense and thank you!

Hello,
I don't have access to SmartVincent. For CA the Ford Options Bonus cash would either be $2,500 or $2,000.

The dealer does not *have* to offer Ford Options. They cannot be forced into it, but you can push back and mention your after sale survey from Ford will reflect your sales experience.

The incentive protection is only for the customer who ordered the vehicle.

I ordered my MME GT on 3/24. Supposed to be here Oct14-20. Built first week of September. I also just texted my sales person earlier today. He had no clue about Ford Options. I explained it, and he said, "oh, that's Flex Pay". I said, nope, and sent him the link. He said or at least implied that they didn't do Flex Pay so probably not the Ford Options.

I will text him tomorrow to look up incentives in Smart Vincent.

I am kind of leaning toward Ford Options 48 for a little insurance. We shall see.

Can someone help me out here?
Ford offers financing incentives at the date of order, not the date of purchase?

If you are the customer that placed the order the incentive protection program means that you get to choose. Either the incentives in place at the time of order or the incentives at the time of purchase, whichever is better.

If you are buying an abandoned order (car off of the lot) then you would only get the incentives available at the time of purchase.

Thanks for that explanation.
I am a customer who placed an order back in Feb 2022. Should I assume that my dealership knows this or is it something should I should bring up?

10-4. Where can I find info to back up this claim?
I would also like this. I wish we had a screen shot of the SmartVincent system showing an example of this from like march/apr time frame. My sales guy did not text me back this afternoon. <sigh>. Sent him my VIN this morning. Looks like I will have to ping him Monday.

Whats a better deal:

2022 Ca Rt 1

Sales price 66k incl TTL and ADM
MSRP 57k

Finance at 3.9%, 48 months

Or

Options for 3.9%, 48 months , with $2k rebate

Assuming I put 25% of MSRP down (Im told that is the max allowed for Ford Options , $ 14,250) in either situation

What is better if I put 30k down and financed? If someone had a link to the options calculator I can do the math myself…but I appreciate the help in advance!

I think the max allowed with Options is higher now, like 45%? I can't remember for sure but it's been posted here in the past.

As far as which of your two choices allows you to pay the least, ignoring timing/inflation etc, I did some very quick math and it looks like you're ahead by $860 (7,500 annual miles) to $1,150 (19,500 annual miles) if you go with Ford Options.

I used this calculator, which was very helpful for me when I was making my own decision:

So, like many of us here, I ordered a LOONG time ago (Nov 17, 2021) and my car was built 8/24/22 and am hoping to get it in a couple of weeks and now I'm focused on financing. I read much of this 26 page thread and found the autobytel reference (https://www.autobytel.com/ford/mustang-mach-e/2022/incentives/) to find out incentives on my car and came up with:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Poll: Ford Options vs Finance 1665253567759

Now, it appears like I can get 72 month zero per cent financing; am I missing something? Or, I can use Ford Options and get a $2k rebate.

That chart is wrong. All of the “0%” boxes should say “N/A”. The second row is for Ford Options (only available for 36 or 48 months).
