Hi! Looking to pull the trigger soon on a '22 Route 1 RWD with about 30k miles. Panoramic Roof is cracked, but seller will replace through dealer (this seems a somewhat common fix). Parts are already on order. 1 month left on the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. Overall seems in great shape... Test ride went well. Any significant issues I should be looking at?

I have a 23 CaRt1 and would recommend getting the premium extended warranty very soon with lighting coverage thru Granger.
Enjoy the ride.

I have 2022 Cal route 1 AWD at 39k. I love the car except for its rough ride. The suspensions of this car is just bad. Other than that I love it. You left out the most important part?. How much is it?

$29.5K plus taxes.

Edit: in Hawaii where vehicle prices tend to be higher than the mainland.

I wouldn't say the replacement of the glass roof is "a somewhat common fix". Yes, people have had them crack, but it's not "common" and even close to common.

If you have means to charge at home I would say go for it. Charging outside is nearly as expensive as gas these says. Even at Tesla with adapter is time consuming.

We have a ’22 CA-RT1 with 48,000 miles on it. We wouldn’t trade it for anything else in production and wouldn’t sell it for less than $40k. If I had the cash, I’d buy a used one for my child even though they live in an apartment without charging infrastructure.

The California rte 1 does have very rough ride. Make sure you are okay with how rough. But everything else is good.
Takes a little longer to charge on the road, than some current versions. But how many times are you really on long trips.

Understood. Perhaps 'irregular issue with a known fix' would be better.

I’ve had my CA RT1 RWD since it was fresh off the lot and love this car. It’s a great commuter and long distance road trip. It will be great for the cross-island trek on H3 (a long road trip ?).
As for a rough ride, that only seems to be a factor on poor pavement or speed bumps. Although I may be more biased as I’ve always had sporty cars (GTIs) or eco friendly cars without comfort tuning (Volt).
One MachE owner reports some recent improvements from retrofitting 2025 Rally Springs into an early model MachE Premium (functionally the same in design and weight as a CA RT1):

I have CaliRoute 1 ā€˜22 AWD since December’22. Almost 70k miles and no regrets. It’s my commute and road trips car.
I installed autoese liftgate and it’s fully integrated with car and remote. Also, I use lighting fob so I could have easy access to frunk.
