Powertrain/reduced power - pump issue?

We have a 2022 MME Premium ER4x. Two days again we got a service soon warning- Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced power. We took it to the dealer, they looked at it today and told us it was the rear fluid pump and they have to order the part., which will take some days to arrive plus some days to install, estimated about 10 days total.

Does this make sense?

Assuming it does, anything we should be careful of or instructions we should give the dealer?
