This would be the first time I've seen EA vehicles get an update after general release vehicles
At a minimum, once an update goes GA, it should be available by “pull” to GA.

Have any 2021s gotten it? I’m in EAP and haven’t gotten 6.2.0 or 6.3.0. I’ll give it a few more days before hitting it with FDRS.
Can you do PowerUp updates in FDRS?

I thought there was at least one 2021 that reported 6.2 over in the other thread?

PowerUps are an OTA terminology. But the individual module updates contained in a PowerUp can be updated with FDRS.
Ah nice. I might have to invest in the FDRS system and start updating myself. Still on 3.5.3 with no updates in sight (Ford service told me I am fully up to date with nothing to do ?)

Yes and no. The PowerUp updates are only the updates that come over the air, however, the updates that they apply are usually available in FDRS before they come out OTA. So you can’t go in and click do PowerUp X, but you can do the equivalent module updates from FDRS.

Just keep in mind the updates that show up in FDRS are only the only the ones that have been released for your VIN, not any update you want. Before you invest in FDRS you might want to ask someone that has access to it to run your VIN and see what’s available.

Does OTA 6.3 allow the driver to instruct Navigation what speeds the driver intends to use when they can? Does it still assume you will drive at 65 mph even when the speed limit is 70 mph? Especially when the driver tends to go faster than the speed limit in rural areas.

So I guess technically it is possible I have all the updated components, without the front end updates (I really want that camera button on the top!)

Oh I've done that a few times, LOTS of updates available, according to them, but when Ford service hooked the vehicle up to the FDRS physically, they told me everything was up to date.

Most like you don’t and your car is stuck. You’ll probably need to take it to a dealer to get it un-stuck

Tried that, no luck, not stuck because it's "fully up to date" as far as Ford is concerned.

Find another dealer, they don’t know what they’re talking about then. You can also reach out to a ford support and get them to talk to the dealer and get your car unstuck.

Ford or the Dealer? Those are two very different things. Dealers will often lie or are uninformed about updates. I have had heated arguments in my dealers service department trying to get my 2021 updated. They said there was nothing they can do when ford was telling them the opposite.

Dealer, but he sent me screenshots showing me all the modules were up to date and there was nothing for him to do.
