Ford or the Dealer? Those are two very different things. Dealers will often lie or are uninformed about updates. I have had heated arguments in my dealers service department trying to get my 2021 updated. They said there was nothing they can do when ford was telling them the opposite.

It really makes no sense. Before June I had the '21 GT, seemed like every time I drove the vehicle I got an update. In the 3 months I had it, I got 5 updates.

Dealer, but he sent me screenshots showing me all the modules were up to date and there was nothing for him to do.

The dealer is using FDRS, if someone on here looks up your VIN in FDRS and sees updates available then the dealer will see them too.

Noticing a trend on these update threads-

No 2021 GTs.

I think they forgot about us.

I’ve only seen one person with a 2021 Gt that said they got 5.1, 6.1, 6.2 or 6.3.

I’m 2021 GTPE EA and the last update for me was the pup one that “fixed/broke” radio presets. Pretty unusual.

2021 Premium AWD. I have 6.1. No one I know with a 2021 has received 6.2 or beyond. With that said, the sample size I’m using is quite small, and even if it’s a valid wide scale observation, it’s still meaningless. Ford actually has a plan. Our job is to second guess it and come up with absurd predictions about it.

Does OTA 6.3 allow the driver to instruct Navigation what speeds the driver intends to use when they can? Does it still assume you will drive at 65 mph even when the speed limit is 70 mph? Especially when the driver tends to go faster than the speed limit in rural areas.

I don't use Ford Navigation at all, but this is likely nothing you'd actually see as an end user. More of a backend change to how it estimates range based on the navigation you do.

I had thought it may have been because I was traveling this week so car sat idle at ~60% battery for days and maybe it went to deep sleep and missed its checkin window to grab it or something….. but apparently not

I, too, am a 2021 Job 1 EA still on 6.1, which I received during the first batch of rollouts for EA. I checked my connected vehicle settings and the toggle disappeared, but after messing with it for some time it came back and it's on. Scheduled updates seemed to be fine as well.

Have any 2021s gotten it? I’m in EAP and haven’t gotten 6.2.0 or 6.3.0. I’ll give it a few more days before hitting it with FDRS.

2021 FE and I'm only on 6.1, haven't seen 6.2 or now 6.3 in the pipeline for my VIN yet (I'm in EA).

I‘ve seen lots of reports from non EAP folks. Not sure I’ve seen any 2021s get anything past 6.1.0 yet though.
