Prevent horn while car is running?

I've RTFM'd, and disabled what I think is the setting, but my MME still honks when I walk away with the key while it's running.

Is there a way to disable that?

Trying to not bother the neighbors early in the morning if I need to step away for a minute.

If the answer is to re-RTFM, that's fine ?

You must use Forscan to disable the double honk upon exiting a running Mach-E, or any Ford for that matter.

I get the why, but having the option would be nice. Ford can add it to the enhancement backlog ?.

You can leave the door open or leave the fob in the car (if you prefer to close the door). If you somehow lock the car by accident then you can use the door pillar code to get back in.

Understood. I've had Audis, Mercedes, and Mazdas where they were silent by default, so learning the way of Ford. Appreciate the insight!

It’s annoying to have to use FORScan to disable something like that, but I did it myself too, and once you figure out the initial weirdness of FORScan, the actual change was really easy and quick to do.

It is annoying but I've noticed that if I first unlock all the doors, then clear the car is on and door is open warnings and leave my phone (Paak) in the car, Sheeba won't nag me when I close the door and walk away (fob in pocket). But you may have already taken care of this with Forscan. Just thought I'd add my observation.
