Preventative replacement of 12v battery?

i'm at 4 years (28k miles) and not planning on replacing until 5 year anniversary, am i crazy?!

there have been no issues....

I’m 4yrs 7mths 122,000 miles and never “plan” on changing my 12V battery, makes me an asylum candidate?

I’ll worry about if it if/when I get the symptomatic signs it’s failure is on the horizon.

Ford mobile coming out today for a recall and decided to have them change the 12V battery while they are here. Car is a little over 3 years old with only 1,500 miles on it. Didn't want to take a chance possibly being stranded somewhere because of a dead 12v battery. Even though the car is not driven much at all (use another vehicle for work/travel) I wanted the peace of mind knowing that is has been changed after 3 years.
