Oh yeah that'd be great.

Push button start and remote start

and this

I am actually all in favor of crank windows and manual seat positioners.

Curious since you mentioned remote start (which tends to set the car to the 'guest' profile). Does your "guest" profile also have the mirror folding setting toggled correctly?
As expected, you were right! Guest profile also had auto fold toggled off, didn’t have the issue leaving work when I remote started and it reverted to guest. Thank you very much!

Well now I have both profiles (myself and my wife) set to fold mirrors when locking. This function works for my key fob but not my wife's. Using the lock button on the door or using the lock button on her key fob and the mirrors are not folding. Thoughts?

Make sure the fob is tied to her profile, also adjust the guest profile, too.

This is part of the prep for the new BlueCruise. With the car driving so much better, mirrors will be completely unnecessary. Ford is just trying to get you used to the idea that folded or unfolded, mirrors don’t matter.
It’s not a bug, It’s a feature.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes the key fob is tied to her profile. The guest profile did not have the autofold mirrors enabled. I did enable them in the guest profile but to no avail when using Shannon's fob and profile.

This function had worked just fine in her profile until the latest update. @Ford Motor Company are you listening?

....oooooohhhhhh.
whatever.

I would be in favor of MUCH LESS tech in a base model for lower cost, fun to drive, decent performance EV for the 'common folk'.

i.e. no power-auto-anything, except the MOTOR..... ;)
See, that's what the CA/RT 1 is supposed to be, a stripped out, no power no A/C, no heat. Like the old days when you took off all the power robbing options and ran the track with all the available power.

My guest profile has the mirrors fold down, so when I hit reverse, I hit #3 and can see along the curb/side of other cars.

I do the same thing. I miss "mirror dip" on reverse.

LOL I have owned or played with a few cars that had manual trannies, the radio delete option, the heater delete option, and the sound deadening delete option. The fun old days when you could order a race car from your dealer. I have seen Swiss-Cheese cars but never had the pleasure of playing with one. ??

Can you set the mirrors to fold during back up (or for that matter easily push a button)? Underground parking often have posts. Back up cameras work better anyway.

Not automatically. But yes, you can easily push the button on the door to fold the mirrors at any time.

Hi Owners – We wanted to let you know that if your side door mirrors aren’t closing when you go to lock your car, here is a helpful tip:
  1. Go to your SYNC screen
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Select Vehicle
  4. Go to Mirrors
  5. You'll find an Auto-Fold toggle option – make sure it is toggled to ON
Once you toggle the option ON that should help get those mirrors closed once your car is locked. Remember, always double-check your settings if you encounter any problems to ensure they align with your preferences.

If you have any questions, please contact the Ford Customer Service Center at (800) 392-3673.
Mine stopped working the other day. I had received an OTA update the night before. I went into settings and, apparently, the OTA update toggled the option off.
