My production week of 11/29 is a 2021 and I saw somewhere else that someone had a production week of 12/6 and it was also a 21
My prod date of 11/9 also got pushed back to 11/29. Also a 2021.

Should we switch to a 22? Is there that big a difference. I know the wait clock would start again…

The 91 vs. 88kwh is believed by most to be a software change. All Mach-Es with 88kwh batteries will soon have 91kwh accessible, so it's irrelevant when you get it.
Soon? Define soon. Seriously. Ford has taken a very conservative approach regarding OTAs and feature enhancements via OTAs. I’d not bank on that change anytime soon. I’ve been known to be wrong though.

This is what my Dad suggested, but I damn sure don't want to start at the back of the '22 line. He was saying that more from a trade in value standpoint. There's not that big of a difference for me. That extra $1000 for a 2022 would bother me.. I wouldn't change the color, so that wouldn't be the driver either. That extra 10 miles of battery range isn't enough for me to want to tack on a longer wait. They could also get rid of the color that you want, the longer you push the production date out.... They're good for that lol

Switch only if you want to wait longer, or if you REALLY want a '22 instead of a '21. The cars are virtually identical other than software, and software will trickle down to the '21s via OTA updates.

The people talking about it seemed to have hinted at December if I remember correctly.

I do wonder though, by pushing our dates out Ford isn't leaving much room for anymore slippage in schedule for the 2021 builds. They could potentially slip a bit more and more 2021s could end up 2022s.

I sorta feel like every project in life, everything can only slip and never be on-time. It helps my brain/heart to expect that it'll take longer than what's posted. ;)

“In Service” means when the car is driven the first mile by a person in a public space after it is delivered to the dealership and used by the buyer or dealer as a loaner vehicle for the service department.

When I bought my 2019 Edge Titanium in April 2019, the dealer told me the warranty would end January 2nd, 2022 because the vehicle was put “In Service” January 3, 2019 for their loaner program. So I didn’t get a true 36 month warranty due to this and the vehicle had 2000 miles on it so I only have 34,000 miles (currently sitting at 35,285 miles) before the bumper to bumper warranty expires.

I got $9000 off MSRP ($45500) and they sold it to me for $35,500. CarMax is currently offering me $30,200. I owe $15,000 on the loan. Contemplating selling it now in prep for my 2021 MME-GT but I don’t know if the dealer is gonna pull some nasty greedy play (ADM, higher interest rate, etc) and make it not possible to take delivery, leaving us a one car family if I sell the Edge now.

Pushed back as well, now 12/13/21 (has moved multiple times), so....dealer says will be 21 and talked to rep, any chance it really will be a 22?

If you take delivery in 22 isn’t it a 22? Seems no way to have a 11/29 production and receive in December.
From law.cornell.edu:

§ 85.2302 Definition of model year.
Model year means the manufacturer's annual production period (as determined under § 85.2304) which includes January 1 of such calendar year, provided, that if the manufacturer has no annual production period, the term “model year” shall mean the calendar year.

§ 85.2304 Definition of production period.
(a) The “annual production period” for all models within an engine family of light-duty motor vehicles, heavy-duty motor vehicles and engines, and on-highway motorcycles begins either: when any vehicle or engine within the engine family is first produced; or on January 2 of the calendar year preceding the year for which the model year is designated, whichever date is later. The annual production period ends either: When the last such vehicle or engine is produced; or on December 31 of the calendar year for which the model year is named, whichever date is sooner.
(b) The date when a vehicle or engine is first produced is the “Job 1 date,” which is defined as that calendar date on which a manufacturer completes all manufacturing and assembling processes necessary to produce the first saleable unit of the designated model which is in all material respects the same as the vehicle or engine described in the manufacturer's application for certification. The “Job 1 date” may be a date earlier in time than the date on which the certificate of conformity is issued.

Thus model year is whatever the manufacturer calls it, as long as it is produced sometime between January 2 of the prior year and December 31 of that year. Delivery date is irrelevant.

my production date has moved from 11/15 to 11/22 and now 11/29. Ordered 5/28, premium ER dark grey matter. Just a guess but I think the premiums have a few more chips since it seems very few premiums have been delivered. Assuming it will still be a 21 since the VIN has been issued.
Apart from the production dates there is 0 information from Ford and my dealer doesn’t have a clue.

Mine was pushed back from 12/13 to 12/20. Per email from Ford on 1 October, before a production date was scheduled, my order was converted from '21 to '22. LIkely that yours is in the last group of '21 and mine in the first group of '22. I'm mostly ignorant but would not expect yours to be rolled to a '22 unless production slips to January or something significant for the vehicle becomes unavailable.

I have the same build and color. Mine was 11/22 and pushed back to 11/29 as well. Today I got the email BUT I never got any previous one. My date was 11/22 as I saw it online and I noticed 2 weeks ago that mine changed to 11/29. But TODAY Ford finally sends me an email.
Same here, I got only one email while my Production Week changed 4 (or 5 times), I got this email:

We are excited to let you know your 2021 Mustang Mach-E Premium has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of November 8, 2021.

3 days later I check and Scheduled for Production Week of 11/15/2021 (no email this time, so far). So even an email doesn't confirm anything....

Order Date 5/27/2021
MME PREMIUM Extended Range Battery - RWD
Space White Metallic
I'm located in California

Not sure I'll get it before 2022, but fingers crossed!
