Am sharing this information just as an FYI for this community as there are many threads about production timing. I ordered by Infinite Blue Premium AWD ER back on April 16th. I, like many others, was contacted by my dealer a few weeks after I ordered the car to tell me Infinite Blue was no longer available as a color option; so I changed my color to Iconic Silver. It has since been a long waiting game and one where I (sadly) log in to the Ford website every day to see if there are any updates on my order.

The first time I saw a production date on the Ford website was in mid-August and this date was for the week of 10/18. The week before production was scheduled, the date was pushed to the week of 11/1. Then the week before 11/1, the production was pushed to the week of 11/15. Then the week before 11/15, the production was pushed to the week of 11/22, and this week, the production was pushed to the week of 11/29. Interestingly, with all of these changes in production dates, this week was the only one where Ford sent me an email to notify me that production has been delayed. And then this morning, I logged in to the website and production has been pushed to the week of 12/6 (this did not come with an email notification from Ford).

A couple of notes: 1. the Iconic Silver is not available as a color for the 2022 so I am assuming Ford wants to get this 2021 model produced as they can't use the exterior panels for 2022 production. 2. There have been threads on this forum suggesting that production for the 2022 model will begin the week of 11/29. Given my production schedule, this would suggest that the start of 2022 production has been delayed beyond this 11/29 target start up date.

Does any know how many 2021 orders have been pushed to 2022? Second question how many vehicles are produced each week on average barring no supply issues? I know tough questions. Just trying to gauge when my order might be built.

According to articles I've read in local Spanish language media, at the recent one year anniversary of production at the Cuautitlán plant, "up to 305 a day" with 60,988 in that first year. Please note that in this first year approximately half of the production was exported to 19 other countries than the US. So 30k to US.

I put up a translation of Ford's press release here:

Be very helpful to have a 'mole' inside the plant to pass us intel on what's really going on and what's scheduled when.

My GTPE is scheduled for this week, 11/25, in Iconic Silver. Would have thought they would group cars by paint color so they don’t have to purge the robots. Maybe not.
