Prototype Mach-E (in Rapid Red Metallic) showed up at work today

Thanks for the great pics. I went to an event in Southampton, UK a few weeks ago where they had an AWR model on display (also in red). We weren’t allowed to sit in it but I was able to take some measurements of the boot space etc. I have a RWD, extended range (infinite blue) on pre-order.

Ford needs to announce showings around the country.....

And a test drive or even a ride in one would seal the deal for me.

I wonder how it compares to Mazda`s beautiful "soul red crystal metallic" paint

I have this car/color and I hope its easier to paint match for the inevitable dings and nicks. I got a deep door dash when it was a week old from a really terrible person who didn't leave a note. I had a quote of $800 to paint the whole door because the paint cannot be matched due to its multi layer process. Every time I see it still makes me made 5 years later.

The vehicle sure is flat under the car. Was that the back up light in the center of the car?

With regards to the licence plate, thankfully Nova Scotia only has a rear plate. So no messing with the front of the car.

With regards to the color. Were not allowed to get a red car. The Mrs, her mum had a dream that we passed away in a red car. I seen some pics of the Tuxedo Black, at least I think that's the color. That will very likely be the color of the car I will choose. Looks super nice when it's clean. Yucky when dirty. sigh... But I have got some Turtle Wax 53413 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer on the way. Can't wait to put this on my own Mach-E.

Actually it's the same location as the 2020 mustang.

And the 2019... not sure how far back it goes......

The backup light location was part of the S550 redesign in 2015. Here's my 2017.
