A friend of mine was up in Donner Pass (CA) a couple years ago for a weekend and a few days after she got back her Toyota Highlander started throwing all kinds of error codes. She too it in to the dealer and they found a Pica had built a nest in the engine compartment and munched away on the soy based wiring covers. Damage was $5,000 and thankfully covered by her insurance.
