I am considering purchasing a premium awd extended range from a dealer that is about an hour and a half from my home. If the car has any bugs or updates that need to be addressed by a dealer would I have to take it to the dealer where I purchased it or could I take it to a dealer that is closer to home.

As long as the dealer is certified to work on it. You shouldn't have any problems using another as your service dealer.

The dealer that I chose is about the same drive time from me. There are several certified eaters much closer, so if 8 had to take it in for service I have options.

You can have your Ford serviced at any Ford dealer………but choose a good one.
