So as the title title my range indicator has randomly dropped 30miles. I thought maybe it was my driving history so I reset that but it didn’t change anything. I also tried fully charging my battery as i usually only do it at 80% but being at 100 it now shows 26 miles less than normal. Any ideas?

Lots of topics on this, it's normal for the range estimate to vary from day to day with the same amount of charge. Depends on things like temperature. It also takes 500 miles to learn your driving style.

You might know this already, but you shouldn't normally charge it to more than 90% because it can degrade the battery. You should only charge to 100% right before driving it on a long trip, don't leave it parked at 100%.

The BMS (Battery Management System) might be adjusting to your long term driving style and usual charging levels of 80%. It doesn't mean anything is wrong. You will still get the same range at 100% as you did when it was new for the first few years of the battery.

Yeah that’s why I usually charge to 80%

Whether you drive a traditional internal combustion vehicle or an electric vehicle, the range is nothing more than a calculated guess.

Your car has absolutely no idea how you will drive from point A to point B in the future, you could drive like a maniac at 100 Mph, or you can drive like a grandma at 20 Mph. Both scenarios use DRASTICALLY different amounts of fuel (gas or electrons) to travel the same distance.

That being said what your car does know is how you've driven recently, thus based on your most recent average consumption it can guess how much range you (potentially) can get if you were to continue driving with the same average consumption, which is how that range number is calculated or guessed.

With all of that said, that number changes with time based on your driving, and you should not expect it to remain the same. Sure you can go ahead and reset your driving history all you want, but all your actually doing is defaulting these consumption variables to factory preset values.

In other words it doesn't gain you, or lose you any real world range when that number changes because your battery isn't suddenly shrinking or growing when you reset it.

It's just a guess folks! Real world range is determined BY ACTUALLY DRIVING, and seeing how far you go per given amount of battery consumption.

The only thing I can add to already good information above is that the precise range isn't important. For a daily driving you can charge overnight and you have more than enough anyway. For long distance driving the navigation or app will plan the charging stops with a sufficient margin. For the sake of the battery health and peace of mind you are likely to use less than 60% of the battery capacity between the stops.
The problem only arises when you rely on EPA number deciding to drive somewhere without prior experience. If you unlucky, you may end up with a range half of the EPA.

Resetting your trip odometers will have zero impact on the range estimate.
