Wish there was a physical manual. Every vehicle I've bought I've brought the manual in for bedtime reading.
You can buy a paper manual from a third party. Or dump the website version onto a flash drive and have it printed. Or, alternatively, tell the SO test you need to drive to a park on the other side of the state to “research.” Read the manual in the car while your there. ;)

I commute about 90 miles a day and rack an easy 450-500 miles a week/~2000 miles a month on the AWD MME. I stopped wasting my time reading posts by illogical intuitive “thinkers” posting “solutions”. Read the damn manual sitting down in the drivers seat. Look at every information button. Select functions you want or don’t want. You’ll find out things like…if your contact list has.. hundreds+ if not thousands of contacts it’ll take more than 3 of your favorite songs to upload. Or you can see regenerative braking efficiencies. Or fix that damn intelligent cruise to stop adding 5 mph.. or learn to turn lane keeping off because it sucks on curvy roads. Sure PAAK is weird but so was every IPhone I’ve owned. I’ve rebooted it 3 times and with rare exception.. it works fine. So if your bored and like reading threads.. go ahead. But if you want to get the most out of your MME. . . READ THE MANUAL!!!
to be fair tho, some things are not in the manual. I've got a pretty good grasp of the content, now. For instance jacking points. I can't find it listed in the manual but fortunately someone posted the photo from ford showing the points. I'll say I"m probably 50/50 on the manual and learning stuff on youtube or the forums. Both serve their purpose

Ford Mustang Mach-E Read the manual jaking points mach

Abracadabra! Wish granted.
I highly recommend putting the .pdf manual on your phone, for the times when fordpass is dead or you have issues with your car and can't access on sync 4

That’s a very good suggestion. Which I just did.

I saved a copy to my Google Drive. Now I can read it anywhere I have internet access.

The problem with printing things is it's easy to lose track of updates and revisions. The manual available online already has an end date. Vehicles built before 6/xx/21.

And that’s no short document! Reminds me of my manual for a VOIP phone system. Which is more content for a breadbasket sized object.

There's a lot of mostly useless content. Anyone have any questions about how to use a seatbelt? You won't after reading the OM. ? ?

Working the onscreen Menu “manual” is the best way to learn about the MME. However the pdf manual is rich in content and for your type I’ve a suggestion. Don’t read it.

I'm not the typical guy who "doesn't need no stinkin manual"
While I still have not received my Mach-E, the first thing I did after placing my order was download the manual and then sat up till 3am going thru the entire manual.
Oh and I did not stop there, I downloaded all the warranty info as well as instructions on how to jack up the car as well as prepare it for towing.
All this on my phone, pc, and a flash drive, just in case

Caveat-This does not mean you’re going to solve every problem but likely 99%. There are true software and hardware failures that will need pro diagnostics. But most consumer related issues are related to the lack of familiarity with operation of new technology. It is/will be an Achilles heel for most modern technology.

Some good things to know: Fixing a flat, opening the frunk when the 12V battery goes dead, emergency tow procedures, fuse locations, hard points for a child seat, headlight adjustment, etc. it used to be simple. It’s not.

It's just quicker and easier to get results from here on items that I actually use. I take the path of least resistance. But if you want to while away your days reading the manual to understand options that you'll never use, go for it.
