Well, today, as a test, I decided to estimate my real world range with my longest commute of the week. 47.8 miles one way. Drove less like a maniac then normal. Start percentage of battery, 100 percent. End of trip, 83 percent. No climate use, but had fans on and radio and charging pad. 60-62 degrees. Based off of both the percentage consumed and miles to kWh displayed at the end of trip (3.7), estimated rang somewhere around 280 miles. Sound about right? 2021 Standard battery.

How fast? Guessing city driving <40 MPH. No way it does 280 mi on an interstate.

Seems right. I had one, same car in AWD and I was getting 260 miles per charge, staying under 55 MPH (no highways near me). 227 on the highway, 70 MPH and cruise. It was a great car. 3.5-3.9 Mi/kWh every day.

This ^^^

2021 with a 68kW battery doing 280 means 4.1 miles per kW (280/68). You were driving very slow.

I just did a trip with my 2022 AWD. Never got over 3.1 miles per kW, as expected.

Yeah for the most part going 55-65, actually. I wonder with all of the updates that maybe I got more usable battery unlock, like the 2022s. I mean, percentage of SoC on the IPC is pretty accurate, right?

If you drive until it dies and then must be towed, apparently you can get 230ish miles on highway at 70mph on a warm summer day with a Select AWD with standard battery and standard 18” wheels/tires. See 70mph tests on insideEVs.com

First trip I made in the ‘22 Select AWD was 261km. I met up with an ICE 5.0, and proceeded to venture at 140kph, car told me at 30%, pull overdumbass, you won’t make your next charging destination. I pulled over into the slow lane in BlueCruise, and arrived at 14%…. So..There’s always that approach too.

I think 370km or 230 miles, is doable from %100-0

Yeah, I say realistically, I wouldn't chance any of this, is just good to know that if it's a mild day, and I drive like a granny, I can reach further than the EPA rated range if needed.

The charging infrastructure on the California Northern coastline leaves something to be desired.
