Rear Lift Gate Trunk won’t close

Anyone have this issue? Just got my MME only 500 or so miles. Trunk hasn’t given me any issues until tonight. It opens with the power actuator fine but when I try to close it by any means, it just beeps 3 times and stays open. I tried setting it to manual and closing it then turning it back to automatic. Locking, unlocking. If I close it manually then hit the open button, it opens but then won’t close via power

Could be a sensor issue telling it there is something in the way.

Or something could be binding and causing resistance to closing.

When you closed it manually did you note and excessive resistance? Or did it move at all before stopping when you press the button?

When I pushed the button it just beeped, didn't move at all. It was stiff to close but I didn't note any areas of pushback. This morning it seemed to work fine. Is it possible it was a low power issue? I was at about 20% charge, and this morning it was working at 80%, this seems unlikely to me. Maybe just sitting a few hours reset whatever it thought was wrong maybe?
