I also had the issue recently. 2021 Premium, only use PAAK and I had it happen twice in the last 2 months, never in the 3.5 years prior. No mouse, I saw it happen as I was walking to the car with my phone.

Happened to me once. I was getting out of my car I use PAAK exclusively, so I did not have a key fob in my possession. I was getting out of the car. I was nowhere near the middle screen and as I exited the vehicle, the back hatch popped open. This happened right after an update. It’s been a few months now. It was a one time thing and I’m guessing it was just one of those glitches that happens on occasion.
I drive a 2022 GT without the foot control installed. My build was approximately at the time where that was phased out. I’m not even sure that my car has the equipment.

Happened once on my ā€˜24 with the rear hatch at the BucEs near Loveland, CO while charging at a Supercharger. I use PAAK and walk-away auto locking, but always visually check. Came back to the car (in a pouring rain) and the hatch was open.
Happened to me again yesterday. No key fob. Just my phone in my pocket. Walked away from the car and it opened - yet again.
Class action??

Happened for the first time today. Using PAAK, '21 Job 2 Premium. Parked outside (thank goodness) garage, in the sun. Was backed up to the garage... for sure no critters. There would have been big damage if I'd parked in the garage with the garage door closed like I do 99.99% of the time!

This has happened to me several times, when I find the hatch open in the garage in the morning. My '23 Select has the foot-swipe switch, and I just assumed that the dog must have set it off at some point...
Pardon my ignorance, but what is PAAK..?...and how do ppl start their cars if not carrying the key-fob/remote control?..

Could another factor be other people opening their cars? My trunk opened this Saturday as I was unplugging from charging at a parking garage. I do not think it was my hitting the fob in my pocket. I make a point of facing it toward my leg to avoid inadvertent triggering of something like the alarm. I did see another Ford parked two cars down which left just as I hung up the charger handle.

Here’s my take: I was using PAAK to open the frunk to get the Tesla adapter. I can’t rule out user errors at this point. Did I, in walking away and returning the phone to my pocket, accidentally hit the hatch button on the phone? It’s a wait and collect data and see thing for me.

It happened to me twice, both times after pressing the rear door opening button. Actually in both cases I wanted to open it too after opening the door, so i thought it gained some telepathic powers...

It has happened 3 or 4 times these last couple of years for my ā€˜21 job 2. One of the situations caused the tailgate to hit the ceiling of a parkering house and damage the gate some (a small scratch and dent).

I use the start button in the car. I never carry a key fob, just my cell phone. Forgot the key fob for the Ford dealer, gave them a valet code.
