Over the last week or two, my rear window has not been dispensing washer fluid. There is fluid in the car, and the front windshield washer works perfectly.

Anyone had this happen? If so, what did you do?

The front and rear wipers both share the same reservoir, right?

Did you just get the glass roof recall done?

Stop using it.

They likely disconnected the hose in the pillar and you're dumping fluid into the left(?) rear inside. Multiple people experienced this.

Yikes. Okay, thanks for the heads up. I only tried it twice. I'm heading to the dealer next week, and I'll ask them to look at this.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but what was the outcome of your dealer visit?

The washer fluid stopped spraying out of my rear windshield sprayer in my '23 MME Premium. I can hear the rear motor running and gurgling above my head on the driver's side. No noticable smell or fluid leaking into the cabin. And no, my car never had the glass roof recall.

I prefer to service my own vehicles whenever possible as I typically don't trust the dealer to do a pristine job. Anyone have experience troubleshooting and fixing this issue themselves?

The dealer fixed it for me for free. In my case, it was a result of an issue from a recall repair. I don't recall specifically how they repaired it, but it's been working fine ever since.

To follow up on my situation-

Twice I've had my dealer look at my rear washer fluid sprayer, and twice they've told me that it works just fine.

I don't know how or why, but it works right after I leave the dealer but is back to not spraying the day after. They must be doing something while they have it so they can say that it works, but whatever they do isn't a permanent solution.

I've pretty much decided to just pretend that the car never had a rear sprayer and move on.
