Anyone else having washer fluid leak under the frunk? Last time we got the 'level is low' warning, I filled the reservoir while fast charging then had an embarrassing puddle develop under the car.

Yes, it's scheduled for service; figured I may as well check here and give the dealer a head start on diagnosing and fixing it if possible.

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this on my end.

Hi, I just got the same problem. What has been your dealer's solution?

If you had the windshield recall done, that is likely the culprit.

When my windshield was replaced (rock) they didn’t tighten back one of the hoses.

Once I took the plastic panels off was a 10 second fix pushing the hose back in place.

No recall for me, the Pon-e seems to be healthy otherwise

Where was the hose you tightened? I took off the top frunk plastic covers but all I could see was the top washer fluid reservoir neck and where it joined with the reservoir. I have a similar leak as the OP. I suspect I either have to take the frunk out or reach the reservoir from the bottom of the car to get to the leak.

Do you get a puddle when parked or only when trying to clean the windshield? If the latter, then check the connections under the beauty panels in the frunk at the base of the windshield. I had to reconnect one of the hoses earlier this year. It is not exactly a robust connection.

If it leaks when parkecd, then Look at this thread:
https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...id-pump-removal-and-reservoir-cleaning.40598/

It tells you how to access the windshield washer reservoir and pump. First check if one of the output hoses is disconnected.

It leaked when parked, right after refilling it. I saw that earlier thread, but jacking up such a heavy car gives me pause... I just have a small jack from another car, although I do have the jack pucks.

It’s been 3 years so my memory isn’t exact.

But for me it was near the windshield. Was kinda obvious when I took the top panel off (the one that covers the 12v battery) as I could see the leak.

The first picture in this thread shows the hose connection by the windshield, if that's what you are looking for....
