Like everyone, I got the recall about the door locks.

I got an OTA update in November which addressed this issue. Since then, I’ve been waiting for the recall to clear from my Ford app.

At this point, I don’t think it will. Is my recall issue resolved? Do I need to get a dealership involved to clear it?

ETA: the NHTSA website shows the recall as still open on my VIN

I'm in the same boat. I've been told that the OTA we received is indeed for the recall and that it will be cleared in Ford's systems (and presumably the NHTSA's as well) Soon™️

I received the same OTA, didn’t clear. Had car in for something else, they had it for the day. Checked updates, said it had not actually applied it. They performed the update again, it shows completed and went away.
the ford dealerships around here are almost all same company, they do pretty well, but have just one EV tech each

It can take months to clear out on its own. The dealer can clear it if they have the vehicle there.

Yes. But it had been applied at another dealership and didn’t work at all, before the OTA. I just asked to have it checked, they said it had not completed previously.
Overall, they seem to do fairly well with the car, but dealer in Richmond I bought it from has 3 technicians who carry laptops with them and they are actually amazing!
It’s just the 5hour drive each way.
if it’s complicated, I go to them.
