Yesterday I received the HVBJB (NHTSA# 23S56/23V687) recall notice and a Charge Cord reprogram battery charge control module Campaign#23B50.

Just wondering if anyone knows the time frame for the HVBJB fix.

2022 Premium AWD ER, build date 1/22.

Ford’s letter to the NHTSA stated that letters would be sent out to owners between October 30th and November 10th. I have not heard that any have yet been mailed out. It does appear that cars that have already received a new HVBJB have been removed from the recall list so Ford is working things.

But it was just that there was a recall - not that you could take it in to the dealer and the parts were available - correct? I received the email also but it just the same a the recall notice on FordPass. The letter will be mailed out when parts are available.

Yeah, seems I’m in the minority who use it a reasonable amount and often with hands full. Suggests the button won’t be useful if I can’t reach the button anyway!
Maybe voice activated - I’ll upgrade for the 2030 model or keep watching the modern science fiction movies.
