Been in the Early Access program since May12th. I have Access to nothing early...but I am ready.
I just got the email today, and joined immediately. Good to know I haven't missed out on anything "new" because of it ;).

I have already received an OTA update a month or so ago. It wasn't this program however. :cool: PS-I couldn't register from my iPhone (said I was not from USA) but when I got home, everything went smoothly on my iMac desktop.

Based on the only thing that's been available so far in this program (Intelligent Charging, for those of us that got it), I'm not sure this program will give us full OTA's to test. It's only for small features, like intelligent charging.

What's more interesting is that for those of us that got the Intelligent Charging invite, it activated in the cloud. There was no OTA, or FordPass update. They can "flip the switch" remotely to enable these things.

There was a different testing invite to very select few a few months back that included an NDA for those that were invited. I suspect this smaller group are the one's getting OTA's to test before the rest of us.

I think some people may have unrealistic expectations about this Early Access program. Consider that it is widely known. Ford is going to be understandably cautious about what they distribute to the participants. There are all kinds of ramifications. For example, suppose your vehicle had a not final version of the BlueCruise software and you were involved in an accident? Would the insurance company (either one) deny coverage because an “experimental vehicle” was involved? Even if BlueCruise was not engaged at the time of the accident? I could see a lawyer tying up discovery demanding proof that it was in no way involved. I think the same principle would apply for a lot of the other “cool” features people are hoping to play with in “Early Access”. My expectations for the program is that it’s going to be more UI and non-driving feature centric. Perhaps we might get to try the remote front trunk opening, if we are lucky. New instrument panel layouts and display options. But don’t expect anything around the ADAS features.
