I got annoyed by the school zone warning going off on the weekend... seems an easy coding fix to ignore Saturday and Sunday...
Do some Googling and you'll learn that school zone slower speed limits are in effect in some places during those same daylight hours on weekends, because children may be playing on the property (i.e. sports activities).

There is no way any database could filter that out.

The school zone warning to me is a great example of how we can have such diverse opinions on things, some of which really shouldn't matter IMO.

The school zone warning comes up on the screen, with a tone, when one approaches a school zone. It doesn't slow the vehicle or adjust speed in any way. It simply gives you a heads up.

Unless your daily trip takes you past 15 schools, I can't imagine this being an issue, yet it comes up here and there. It's a great example of the saying:

"You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." I believe it was from a poet, John Lydgate, later adapted by Abraham Lincoln.

This is why product developers rip their hair out. They do focus groups (which are subjective), surveys (which may or may not have leading questions and have to be sent to a representative sample of prospective buyers), and still - people complain about things they hate, or things that are missing.

Go read a truck forum, and you would think that having the engine turn off a stoplight was akin to robbing their home it was such an affront. The backseat warning that comes on when you open and close the rear door before driving that was put into place to lower the death rate due to children being left in the car.

I think it's great that my car tells me that I'm approaching a school and should be more attentive.
The development of modern technology should improve the safety of modern cars, but modern autopilots do not always work correctly and well. I am an engineering student at a university and I buy an essay paper online https://papersowl.com/buy-essay-online for my course project to do a comparative analysis of similar technology from different manufacturers. There is an opinion in society that such technologies will soon replace ordinary drivers, but I don’t think so, in fact, the autopilot has not yet been invented, it is a high-quality, but ordinary adaptive cruise control, which has many non-residuals. And unfortunately, so far it provides a lot of inconvenience in the area of school zones.
Carry on, but let's not carry on. ?
I think it's not bad that the car warns about the school zone, but sometimes it gets in the way (

Based on my experience with version 4.1.3, I would recommend disabling auto update. With auto update disabled, you can accept updates on your own terms, hopefully once you've had a chance to read up on others' experience and decide whether you want the new version or to sit tight with what you've got.

I personally had my misgivings about the UI changes, but regretfully went forward. If I could roll back to 3.5.x, I would do so without hesitation.
