red light on charging indicator on the car

My 2022 Mach-e ER got a new battery at the dealer in dec 2025. Now after charging and pulling out the cable, the cars charging indicator is constantly red. What seems to be the problem?

In your setting you can turn this charging light on or off perhaps that will do the tricky.

Has it been red ever since, or just now?

Does it charge successfully each time?

Hi, it is a new 12v battery, HV battery charges succesfully every time on L1. Not tried L2 yet.

No it's not that light . It is the charge indicator in the charging port.

Yes - charge indicator is constantly red when I unplug the cable. No problem charging, yellow service lamp in dashboard (the wrench) is lit. OTA says that it's nothing to worry about - it should disappear after a while. Cannot download OTA though...Have an appointment at the dealer on April 8th. I hope they can fix it.

Hi,
Dealer found that charger didn't communicate with OBCC module, and therefore amongst other not charging on DC chargers (and not updating latest OTA for OBCC). They will replace SOBD (whatever that is) at no cost on april 21st.
