That has not been my experience. I have remote started many times while my car was sitting in a parking lot for hours, even days in the airport parking garage.
Wait really!?? I've never had a successful remote start lock or unlock when the car has been sitting for more than 5 minutes.

Is there a TSB for that? ?

It has worked after days. Have you hit it twice (a few times) to wake it up first and then to do what you are asking? Maybe paak update but the top row is a different FP paak? Make sure you are in bluetooth range wake it up and remote start it. Normally twice works here but roll down the window to wake it up and let some heat out (unlock) then try would also work here. I normally hit it twice no real problem for me as it works.

Weird.. what version do you have?
Been there seen February maybe language (location)? Last time I looked at it it was there only for a short time and if not used disappeared; maybe missed it?

Well hopefully this will get fixed in 2 years when they release that update that's supposed to update battery stats during sleep
Hoping something gets fixed for you. Mine is running great here.

Yes those are the exceptions for me. If I'm charging or if I'm within Bluetooth range I have no issues. But that's really only helpful if I happen to be at home

@mpshizzle I had the issue with remote start not working too. One evening I took the hard approach (fully expecting it not to work) and did a Sync Master reset on the car. I had to set up everything from scratch including Ford pass activation etc….was a pain….but guess what……it worked! I can now remote start lock/unlock even when the car has been sleeping for a day. Interesting we both use FDRS on the car so I wonder if it screwed something up. I used FDRS again today on the car to check updates etc and my remote start still works. All I can say is try a master reset….albeit a massive pain in the butt!

Hmm.. Interesting. My car has done this since I got it in April through many master resets.. that being said now that I've updated everything maybe one more try couldn't hurt ??

I removed the car from Ford pass, then uninstalled Ford pass before I started the master reset. No idea if that helped or not but worked for me.
