Remote Start -Ford Mach-e 2023 Premium

Hello Everyone,

Is it possible to remote start 2023 Ford Mach-e premium? If so how can we do that? Would be nice to keep the car warm in a cold winter night before we start to drive.

I see some people can set the temp via the Ford pass app. Mine only has climate off and on. I have a 2024 premium. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ford is turning that on for people after verifying the car has the needed updates. It should come at some point when Ford's back end updates properly with the needed info. But that isn't fast.

The "Start Climate" fan button always fails with "Climate Start Failed" error.

Both my and wife's phone.

It used to work.

Remote lock and unlock doors works. Start Climate never works.

Anyone else? What's the solution?

I get that occasionally, but it usually works the next day after driving the car. If you still have issues, quit FordPass and reboot your phone, and you might need to lift the negative battery cable to reset the modules.

I intend to replace the 12V battery this month anyway so that may face-slap the modules straight at the same time.

anytime I see this or any weirdness, I am on iOS, I just force quit the app and start over. Yes it will complain about doing so, so far, has always come back online.

That was not my question.

I know. But when you jump in a thread that is asking how to do a remote start, with an unrelated topic (that yours doesn't work), that's my answer. If remote start doesn't work for you (since it works for nearly everyone else), start a new thread and ask the question.

My Mach-E works nearly 100% of the time. My truck fails probably 50% of the time.

That update is taking an unusually long time to get pushed out. (Not counting BC update of course)

I have a CA Rt1 2023, remote start/climate control works with both my Android phone and Samsung watch. Last time it started with full on seat and steering wheel heat. I usually have the seats set at 1 or so, but the remote climate overrode my last setting. But it was nice and warm.

You can set the remote start temperature in the car’s setting screen.
