Replacement DC Fast Charge adapter - should they look different?

Just got my replacement fast charge adapter today. Is the new "safe" adapter supposed to look any different? Mine are identical from what I can see, no branding, etc on the new one.
Just wondering if others got an identical looking replacement adapter.

Email dated 18 October that an issue was discovered and no word since. Did you find any tracking information etc?

The number on it is different. There was a sheet with mine with the number of the one being recalled and mine was that number. The new one had a different number on it. I am guessing the number also has some kind of run number or code date in the last part of it.

Return it. Ford provides instructions.

Yeah they don't look any different, I suspect it was down to something internal that wasn't insulated properly or the soldering was weak in some points since they described slower charging or damage to the port it sounds like there was a point in the old one that could be prone to overheating.

You get a bag and label to return the old one.

got my replacement yesterday, It came with a white plastic pouch AND a separate label, put the defective adapter in it, affix the label, drop it off at fedex, and you're done.

Lectron adapters look very different. Odds are just about 100% that Ford won’t replace the defective Tesla adapters with a Lectron as that means they’d be paying twice.

Why it would be paying twice ? They may pass to another customer once its replaced by tesla (any way they need to buy to fulfill rest of orders ). there is no rule to replace with tesla only.
