I dislike the OEM covers.... I want cloth/microsuede.
combined with my priority for more shoulder bolster for hard cornering I doubt I can 'modify' the OEM seats for less than buying after-market fixed bucket racing/tuner seats.
So far I've found a decent option with the 19# Corbeau fx1-pro for about $400
and a really nice looking option, 22# Cobra Nogaro , but its $1200 per seat
I decided on the Corbeau a4 since they recline, are available in microsuede, work well with regular seatbelts, and I can fold upright for more room if and when I camp in the back versus a fixed back bucket seat.... which my wife would HATE. I got the seats finally after a couple week delay, and will be installing soon and starting a DIY thread on that little project soon.
$1700 for both seats (with microsuede, heat, and adjustable lumbar pump) and bracket sliders (for mustang 2015+).... The bracket sliders for 'regular' mustang are way off, and I had to return and fabricate my own. There may be mach-e sliders available by now, but I dunno.
