Greetings, here’s my first thread! I’ve had my ‘24 AWD Premium extended range since fall of ‘24. Love it. Live in New England, and saw the (anticipated…) 20% (+/-) drop during winter. BTW, I have found pre-conditioning the battery (and pre-warming the cabin) using the departure feature helpful. All good.
Salesman told me to reset my “Driving History” occasionally during winter, and range will improve. OK, I did - and to my surprise, it SHOWED about 20 more miles of range, bringing it just about back to its initial range when first purchased. I like him very much, but couldn't get an acceptable answer to this question: If under identical weather/driving conditions, would I really have been able to drive 20 miles further vs had I not reset it? Or, did resetting just SHOW the battery’s initial range. And no, I didn’t count the actual miles on the odometer (ok, I started to, but forgot by the next time I charged).
It seems odd to me that I’d have to do this reset to get the most actual range.
