Reverse camera beep sounds "different" suddenly?

Not really sure how to explain it, but suddenly today my "beeping" when I'm reversing and getting close to the car behind me sounds different. Like the pitch is off, and/or it sounds muffled. What could be causing this? Hardware issue? Software?

This happens when the car decides to play the alert sounds through the IPC instead of the audio system. If it goes away after turning the car off and back on, don't worry about it.

Ive had this happen a few times. Either reset Sync system with the volume and skip keys or fully restart car (turn off and walk away for a minute or two)

Ah…. so that’s what’s going on. This happens occasionally to me. Another weird little gremlin. Does not appear to affect performance.

I restarted the car after a couple of hours (and also tried the soft reset of the screen), but the issue persisted
