Samsung Phone as a Key Issue

Hi Mustang Mach-E owners,

Thanks to folks in this forum, our team has been made aware of an issue with Phone as a Key for some Samsung users and wanted to let you know that we are working on it. You can still access your vehicle with your key fob or door code.

While we work on this, if you’d like an immediate fix to use the feature and have your physical key fob with you, you can:
• Go to your FordPass app
• Delete your Phone as a Key
• Set up Phone as a Key again

Again, please make sure you have your physical key fob with you before you attempt this.

You could lock FP open by going to your Active Apps screen and press the word Fordpass and select keep open. I assume you have a Samsung.

Does this cause battery drainage

It could use a little more battery but I've had FP locked open for about a month and have no problems with FP. Try it.

Thank you for posting this, it is a relief to know it is an identified problem. Doing the in car reset of PaaK and reinstalling the app has seemed to correct it.

I have a S23 ultra and haven't had a problem with PAAK since I got the car that wasn't my own fault. I guess it's just certain models.
