The chip that runs the main screen/sync in my mach e has failed and the part is on backorder. I likely won't have a functioning screen in my car for at least a few weeks. OK, that sucks, but the car drives and the air is running so I can manage in the mean time.

Until this morning, when since I left my car outside and it was a bit cooler in the shade, my car's default of "medium" temp turned on the heaters and seat heaters to warm up the car. As most of you know, when this happens and you turn your car on, seat heaters stay on until you turn them off. Permanently.

I tried to set a new departure time with "cool" setting, but fordpass returns an error that it's not responding. I'm guessing this is happening because it cannot communicate with my car since the main chip is dead.

That means I also cannot delete the current precondition settings either. So every day, my car is going to start up and fire up all the heaters and seat heaters for 15 minutes.

My next thought is pulling out the fuses that power the seats but I don't know what ones those would be.

Any input would be appreciated. It is unbearable riding in 90 degree weather with full blast seat heaters on.

That's really annoying, sorry to hear, but it sounds like it only happens when you're remote starting. Is it possible to just not remote start for a few weeks?

Per the manual, heated seats are powered through fuse 55 in the under hood fuse box.

It's automatically remote starting, I can't control it. It's the departure settings and I have it set to leave my house at 7:30 every weekday. I tried to turn this off but I seemingly can't because the car has no way to receive the information. It could also be that the app is just not working right now, which would be a great outcome of this.

AHHHH I was hoping it wouldn't be the under the hood fuse, but thanks for the info. I found the fuse map and I'm seeing it appears to be it's own independent fuse, so that's good I won't lose power seats with it.

I think this may be my only option unless I'm lucky and the heated seats turn off on their own after a couple cycles of powering on and off. I just distinctly remember every time they turned on during cabin conditioning, it always stayed on, even through power cycles.

That might kill all the HVAC, I’d have to check. I would just unplug the heaters under the seats.

I think @Maquis is correct. 55 is a 30A fuse and it's showing heated seats is the only thing on it. The AC compressor is on a different fuse.

Yes, fuse F39 in position 55 (30A) will disable the heated seats. However it's a pain to get to since you have to remove the frunk, so I'd recommend just unplugging the connector under the seat. You'll probably lose power seat functions while unplugged, so just move it where you need to before unplugging.
