My Edge does this. It will randomly just not put the seat up to the right spot when you start the car. It just happens randomly and I've never figured out a pattern to it.
My first Edge (2016) was fine but the second (2019) was the same way. Sounds like the MME may have the same issue.

My $0.02 worth here. Mine “works“ about 75% of the time (As in returns the seat to driving position). Sometimes, of the non-functioning 25%, it moves the seat forward about 1”, like it’s tired and lazy. Always goes to proper, programmed position by manually pushing the 1 button. First world complaints!

I have only 1 profile setup and I’m 100% PaaK. Never carry the fob unless I’m taking it to dealer. Fervently hoping my myriad of issues related to TSB 22-2069 will get cleared up when the promised software update is delivered “by the end of March 2022”. It is now April 5th ?

Is anyone else having a problem that their seat moves back to help you get out of the car like it should, but then fails to go back forward when you start the car again? Luckily, I've saved my seat position in memory, but it's annoying to have to do this half of the times when I re-enter the car.

I will note that I often get a note that it can't find my key right after it (paradoxically) starts the car, so maybe it's just not seeing my key (and thus the seat position that it should be in?)
Mine does this about half the time as well. Sometimes it moves up for just a half second and then stops. It’s annoying. I use a FOB exclusively.

I 'debugged' this. In my case the key fob is not 'recognized in time' and the guest profile is loaded. (no picture in the top of the screen only the three dots) What I do now (100% score) is to wait at least 30 seconds when I enter the car. and then use the start button..... What probably happens is that the car is 'too busy' doing other stuff before it starts recognizing the key (PAAK or FOB). Yes, it is a bug IMHO..... (Dunno if Ford is aware of this problem and/or this has been fixed in module updates already. I am job 1/1.6/European kinda guy....)

This happens to me as well. Not that often - maybe 10% of the time. I always have the key fob and my phone (with Paak) on me. The only thing i can think is causing it is sometimes if i sit in the car, i reach into my pocket (to pull my phone or keys out) as I'm turning the car on; while I'm reaching into my pocket, my legs are stretched out and might be applying backwards pressure/force to the seat - which might cause the car to abort the seat movement.

Yes I'd say it's 50/50 that when I start the car, the seat goes back into the appropriate position. Sometimes it will just move a tiny bit and then I have to hit the button on the door to get it into the correct saved position.

That and the IPC loud buzzing noise are my two annoyances with the car.

I turned off this feature in my GT. it was reliable about 50/50 - and I ALWAYS carry the fob. My PaaK works just fine, but I'm just a creature of habit, have 2 and with all the horror stories about PaaK I don't want to get stranded out there.

Either way, I turned off easy exit.

I also have an issue where my lights change from Auto to "on" and if I don't hear the chime or see them, I walk away with my lights on like once a week...

BUGS!
