02/29/2024 does, or at least did, exist, this is a leap year

Order number 90003934, ordered on 2-29-2024 and still says in production. I called a while back and they said there was a glitch in the system, according to the computer skipped ordered placed on the 29th because that day doesn't exist! I just called all excited and they said "Oh yeah yours says shipped, it was delivered yesterday in Florida" I LIVE IN ARIZONA!! @Ford Motor Company

Doubt your adapter shipped before today, as folks with your order number are only now reporting labels getting created. Create a FedEx Manage My Delivery account and check to see the status of anything shipped to your address.

I’m thinking I’m not even gonna get mine till July and my number is 90009159, which I’m guessing mine is in the 9000s how you read that number. Your original order was 20,000 something that comes in July. I’ve got to think I’ll get mine this month but I’m not holding my breath.
I'm 75,100 with a September ship month. In looking through this thread I'd guess there are at least 70,000 orders in the queue in front of me. If I call it 70,000 and say the end of September is 3 1/2 months from now, to make that date Tesla/Ford would have to pump out about 20,000 units a month. I think that will happen when pigs fly. Even 10,000 a month puts me at year end. If the production runs 24/7 to achieve 10,000 a month means about 14 an hour have to be produced. 24/7 is not going to happen, no way the OT and shift differential costs will be paid by Tesla or absorbed by Ford, and then of course there's the issue of obtaining the raw materials to make the things. As much as we like to dump on Tesla, I wonder if this is as simple as the C Suites being blindsided by the demand. I'm beginning to think that buying an A2Z or Lectron might not be a bad idea ... and a set of the little ramps to throw in the trunk. On the other hand, my poodle urges me to be frugal like one of her poodle cousins in California so there's more kibble money in the jar.

The only thing you lost me at where the ramps what would the ramps be for the dog?

I don’t suspect the number of EVs Ford has sold has blindsided them.

Sounds more like Ford ordered over 90,000 of them, as they should given the order numbers is over that. And Tesla has failed to deliver them.

At least failed to deliver them in the “estimated” date people were given….as no one was actually given a date that wasn’t an estimate.

No, not for her. I lift her in and out as the jump is a bit high and I don’t want her to scratch up the car. But she’s more than willing to try and claw her away up!

The ramps are an idea people on the forum have discussed and used to allow them to get the nose of the MME up and over curbs in front of the superchargers. It should get us just enough closer so the short SC cable is less an issue for the MME. The ramps I’ve seen suggested give you about 2 1/2 “ lift at the front end. That should give enough lift to get the nose over a curb without damaging the body work.

I suspect you’re right that production and delivery have been logjams. I have wondered whether more MME owners than expected have wanted the adapter. I don’t know how many MMEs total have been sold or leased.

reserved on 2/29 and nothing beyond estimated to ship in June. I expect it will say shipping the day after my A2Z ships
Oh, I just got a Fedex notification that a package sent from Dearborn MI will be here on Friday. I just emailed and called A2Z to cancel my order.

I can't imagine a single EV owner turning down a free adapter.
I may never use it, but wouldn't dare leave it out of the toolbox just in case.
Or turn down a free adapter that will sell for a couple hundred bucks.

Now if they didn’t notify people who purchased you’ll have some number who don’t sign up, but, most will.

You made me check FedEx and what do know, I have a label from Dearborn. I'm #3782. It has no delivery date yet. I have notifications turned on and it hasn't notified me yet...maybe because it's so early.

Anyway, it's going to arrive just after I leave on my 2 week vacation in the Mach-E. :(
Got the FedEx official notice. Claims it will arrive Friday. Will miss it by 1 day.
