Securialert broken after 4.13 on Android?

Hello,

Since release of Securialert, it has worked pretty well for me. However, now I can't turn it on. I get the "Ford Pass not responding". I can turn it on with the virtual switch, but it doesn't enable. Anyone else experience this?

Yes. Same here. It used to work but does not activate now. I can slide the control switch to on but it doesn't stick. Same message as you. FordPass not responding

Spoke too soon… can’t set schedules for alerts… not responding message in red but I can turn the toggle on and off

I will never rely on my phone to perform a function on my car.

I'm too old to put up with a college kid's idea of "wouldn't it be cool if....", and then selling the idea to management without thinking ahead to the day when the phones over which they have zero control fail to play nice.

I understand the sentiment, however, this has to do with poor programming, less to do with a phone controlling anything about a car.

I haven't investigated if it's even possible in the current iterations of the UI if you can enable Securialert from the car's interface. I don't think you can.

I just tried it out on my phone, and it made me create a schedule before it would turn on.. so I just made a schedule for all day everyday. (I only use this when the car is at the dealer).

I'm in the same boat. I've relied upon Securialert whenever I take my car in for service. I took it in for service last night for the BC update and now I can't turn Securialert on. What's up with that?

My phone is an S22 Ultra.

Still broken. @Ford Motor Company when are you fixing this? It appears to be broken on IOS with 4.13. This isn't just my car.

Mine keeps turning itself on ??. At one point it let me create a schedule and it worked... Then I deleted the schedule, but it still seems to be following the schedule that I deleted!

I got it to turn on using an older iOS. But it doesn't notify in on my phone, it goes into the message center.
