Well driving 30,000 miles a year is a LOT of evidence.
You are getting 32,000 miles out of your tires. How is that “far longer” than anyone else? I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have your wheels balanced every 5000 miles. I’m saying that you shouldn’t be telling other people that they NEED to.

Well driving 30,000 miles a year is a LOT of evidence. What do you drive?? 10,000 or less??? You have to be math deprived if you do NOT see the evidence.
Here's some evidence for you. I replaced my tires on a GT Performance Edition (arguably much higher wear than a 1st Edition) at 27,488 and they still had a bit of tread left. I replaced them because I needed to go in the snow and summer tires weren't gonna cut it. I rotated the tires 2x in 30k and didn't balance them either time. The dealership did both rotations.

Let's not talk about why the dealership charged more for the same service the first time :/

OK, thanks for the reply….. I am adding angle to extend the footprint out to reach each lifting point, front to rear. Bill P
I found that I didn't need that, and I place my jack stands (and pucks) at the factory lift points. ?‍♂?

Here is some more evidence on the other end of the spectrum.

My GTPE has 6900 miles on it.

The front tires are bald on the edges and front and rear are almost on the markers. Almost all city driving.

I’m going to rotate them this week (thread got me thinking), but balance is fine.

Balance definitely will depend on how crappy your roads are and how crappy your driving is (hit a few curbs?).

A pic of how bad they are already:

That corner of the car needs to be decambered a bit. ??

It’s not easy to tell from the pics but the outside edge and inside edge of both front tires look like that.

My guess is it’s from a combination of 36 psi and all city driving. Alignment probably fine.

Here is the inside edge:

That to me looks more like an alignment problem (camber/toe-in), or a "performance" driving style! If the alignment is on spec then it's either spec'd for better handling at the expense of front tire wear on outer edges or you do a lot of higher speed/hard cornering. Out-of-balance usually results in cupping but that looks even all the way round. I've had many cars in my 50 years of driving and have had front tires wear like that and I will I admit I am a more aggresive driver and tend to "push the car to it's limits, traction-wise" on cornering. This is my 6th Mustang , the last was a Shelby GT500 which I had for 11 years and she & I were tough on front tires with them often looking like that. The only cars I have now are the MME Premium and an '89 CRX race car. The CRX is definitely hard on tires!!

.Electric cars go through tires faster than an ICE car simply because an ICE car leaves a stop light slowly then speeds up. An electric car with all of that torque goes to speed quickly.
My MME is a lot easier on the tires than my old ICE cars. The traction control is on a different level.
Evidenced also by the studded winter tires, that after two seasons haven't lost a single stud. But we're heading far off topic!

Definitely under-inflated but it still looks like the outboard side is getting worn more than the inboard side of the tire. ?‍♂?

Assuming it’s zero “new” dollars if you already paid for that kinda service when you got the tires.

On a related note, make sure your tires aren’t directional. If so can only rotate front to rear.
No, if it's Rick, he's made a deal with the manager of his Discount Tire location 10 years ago that he still honors to give him free tire rotations

This is what I made up; 2 ton jack, crossmember, reinforced angle……. Hopefully good to go…… Bill P

Just curious, why are you running them on 36psi?
Ride comfort, traction, and laziness to fill them more. Range is never a concern as I’ve never been below 55% charge.

Yeah, my front tires look like that on every car I’ve driven.
