Hi,

First time I used a DC / EA charger today. I noticed that I couldn't stop charging via FordPass when it reached 80%, nor I couldn't limit via "Manage charging" options on the app and car. Is the default option for DC charging to charge up to 100%? Any workarounds to avoid over charging?

I'm surprised that the fordpass didn't stop it, but the geofencing on charging less than 100% is tied to charge history, so unless you charge at a DCFC more than once you can't set a threshold.

Regardless, it is actually better not to have the car stop charging on its own if you're nearby eating or whatever. If you're not there to unplug it you'll start getting idle charges after the 10 minute grace period.

To stop it you can press the unlock button nect to the charging port (surrounded by the 5 segment LED), or on the charger screen itself is a "stop" button.
