Well that’s my point. No one needs to see 400ft in front of them going 10mph. At 30mph your going 45ft per second, low beams should give you several seconds of reaction time which is fine in most driving conditions.
Only the “auto” feature turns off under 32mph. You can still turn them on yourself if you feel the need to in a certain circumstance.
Nah, too much work, just make it work always like rest of the cars do.

Most if not all brands have a minimum speed (btw your Mercedes’ deactivates below 16mph per the manual ?). It’s just common sense. I feel bad for your neighbors and pedestrians that have to deal with your high beams when you’re driving through neighborhoods at 20mph so you can see the birds in the trees ?

1. If there are pedestrians, there would be lights on 45 mph roads

again, you're fixated on slow speed point. Let's agree with you on it. What about high speed?

Because my initial response was to your comment about wanting auto high beams at slow speeds for when you’re “searching” for something. It works at high speeds… it’s a minimum speed threshold. I’ll give you that it’s not the best functioning auto system (much like most of fords software). I usually find it activating when it shouldn’t vs not activating when needed but in either case just push the turn signal stalk away from you. Not that big of a deal.
