Short Term Blue Cruise subscription

I'm interested if anybody has subscribed to Blue Cruise for just one month. I have a road trip coming up at the end of this month and want to enable the service to cover that period. My '21 is at BC 1.3, and i have experience running it with a previous release in my trial period some time ago.

I see the Monthly Plan in the Connected Services page of the Ford Owner site. Once I enable the service here, is it straight forward to cancel so that a recurring monthly charge isn't continued. Wanting to know if a hassle free termination has been observed by the community. An "on-demand" service enablement suits my driving needs vs. a one year commitment (plus I'm frugal?).

I’d go right to the source. Call Ford and put a reminder on your phone to cancel. I do that with SirusXM

It’s very easy to cancel in the Ford app- I think they give you a one time 10 day (?) grace period, but after that just cancel and the subscription will run through the 30 day window. I have done this several times when taking road trips as I otherwise don’t need it for daily driving.

I’ve done their streaming service before for a road trip. Easier to watch YouTube. I canceled right after i got home (7 days) and it only charged me a prorated amount instead of the full 30days. Not sure of BC would work the same.

I subscribe and cancel through the app all the time. Never a problem. I do put a reminder on my calendar for a few days prior to the renewal date so I don’t forget. But if I remember correctly, they email you a few days prior so that serves as a reminder as well.

I bought one month using points for a long road trip and cancelled before it renewed. It took close to 2 months for the service to actually stop working in the car but was not charged beyond the one month. Would definitely do it again for next road trip.

Looking back at the email I got, it turns out to not be discounted. $600 for 3 years.

I did this on May 30 before a trip, using points. I noticed that they set it up to auto renew (by credit card), which I didn't want. So a week later, I cancelled. That terminated BC immediately (I thought I would get my full month!) Then I saw in the terms that you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund. My points balance updated to reflect the return of points!
