This evening, I was about to drive home after picking up my kid from school. I got the dreaded stop safely now with the lightening in the battery icon. I turned the car off and on a couple times but it didnt help. Then got out, closed the door, and locked it with the fob. After that it turned on ok.

Should I just keep driving or consider going to the dealer. Vehicle health in foedpass says good.

An SSN that disappears is likely not related to the HVBJB. It could be a communications error that cleared itself. It could be a valid error that needs to be looked at. If you have a code reader, pull codes. If not, either get one or go to the FDRS thread and ask one of the volunteers to look up your VIN for codes. ??

definitely go to the dealer. Have you had the HVBJB fixed? I see it is a 2021, so you likely had the original issue. If it is the "going to fail soon" warning, which it sounds like it is, then you likely have a few weeks (maybe 100-200 miles) left.

When it happened to me, I drove to the dealership, took the loaner they gave me, and then picked it up 4 months later, good as new. (It was during the parts shortage).

Yeah, the recall has been completed.

I had a similar experience AFTER I had the recall done, on my way home from the dealer. It happened twice but I was able to get it home and then back to the dealer in the morning. I identified the causal factor as regen in 1PD, so I turned that off and was able to drive without getting the SSN. I turned it back on pulling into the dealer lot. I didn’t get the warning again before I handed it over but the tech who drove it away did, as I saw the warning pop up on FordPass while talking to the service advisor. It turned out to be one of two wiring harnesses that got replaced, one of which was noted as damaged and repaired during the recall work. The bad news is that it took about two months to get the parts but they did give me an MME loaner.
