Should Mach-E Premiums come with all weather floor mats?

Hi fellow owners,

I have picked up a Mach-E premium two weeks ago and am loving the vehicle so far!

However, I noticed that there are no all weather floor mats nor trunk mats in my vehicle while I see some other owners posted theirs and even some videos online have either a trunk mat or all weather floor mats in their vehicle. I have checked these items on Ford's website and these go for hundreds of bucks. I'm wondering if this should have been standard items coming with the premium trims or are these add-ons? Thinking of asking my dealer to give me these but I figure I should have some confidence and background knowledge before asking.

No, these are and have been an option since the start of ordering. Lots of people don’t like all weather mats (I’m one of them, though I’ve found I really like the TuxMats for the Mach-E and have put them in). Unfortunately, if you had wanted them, you should have ordered them online unless you picked-up a dropped order off a lot.

Take a look at the TuxMats line though; you might want those instead for the same or less money.

As others have stated. You needed to order them. I did front to back. Theres other options or order them from your dealer. Best of luck with your ride.

A. Get Weathertech if you want all weather mats.
B. I hate them when there is no reason for them, I.E. In the winter I swap between the 2 in my truck.

No. I live in SoCal, we have only one weather. Those mats are the ugliest things I've seen and they won't see the inside of my car.

The option name is Interior Protection Package and would be listed as a $240 line item under Optional Equipment on the lower/middle left of your window sticker.

Live in Georgia where we don't have snow but after you have tried to clean out Georgia red clay from your floor mats, had a coke or milkshake spilled, ... you really get to appreciate all weather mats, even if they are not the most attractive (as you can probably tell I ordered them).

They were not standard on any trim level.

If ordering for delivery with the car then it was Option 17P "Interior Protection Package". BTW, I *think* I read that on the 2022 if you order this then it adds the all-weather mats but deletes the carpet mats. On a 2021 you still go the carpets (for summer use) and the all-weather for winter.

You can order them from the dealer parts dept.

Note that for 2022 models if you order all-weather mats -- aka $240 interior protection package -- at the time of your vehicle order, you will NOT get the regular carpet mats.

The clay argument makes sense. But I buy carpeted mats instead of rubber ones. If they get gungy then just replace them.

The food argument doesn't make sense. Food doesn't pass through the doorway for me. I learned that lesson many years ago.

My reservation included the IPP (Ford floor mats) but that option didn’t convert over to the order. Luckily I found that the mats I really like are available and they’re cheaper than the Ford ones. I got a set of 3D Maxpider mats from Rock Auto.

I wonder why they are doing this. They give you both sets on other cars when you order the all weather mats.

Cost cutting. No one is not going to buy a Mach-E because they didn't get 2 sets of mats. I actually removed the all weather from the 2022 order conversion to get the rug mats. I have all weather in my 2021, and if I sell it when the 2022 is ready I will put in the rug mats. Then I'll store off the 2022 rug mats until I am ready to sell that.

I just sold our 2018 Fusion with the brand new, front-only, rug mats that we took out 3 years ago, washed the all weather mats, and put them on Craigslist. Carvana didn't care if their were any mats, but I have no use for 2 front mats and no rear mats, and no one would buy them that way.
