Sirius XM getting stuck on channel 2

Took car to dealer and they could not reproduce the event. I took video (attached) of the problem.
It does happen intermittently. Turning car off on doesn’t reset the problem. Sometimes take a day to reset itself.

Any one else have this problem?

No matter what channel I touch it always revert to channel 2.

This happens to me all of the time when I do not have internet connection when starting the car and had been listening to a premium, wifi-based channel. It comes back quickly for me, usually if I switch to a satellite-based station in the lower #'s. YRMV...

Mine doesn’t come back even if on major highways for an hour with good lte/5g to my phone.
Is there a way to reset the radio on the fly?

1. You could reboot the sync screen, and/or try sign out/back in to your Sirius acct.
2. Open your Sirius acct online and reactivate your car (need your sat #)
3. Call Sirius CS and see what they got...

Not sure if this will help but my Sirrius started having issues after a 12volt low voltage alert and would display a Sirrius failure warning after a minute of “loading” displayed. Sync reset, reauthorize account and my dealer no help. Drove to a second dealer who simply disconnected the 12 volt for a few minutes and when reconnected, it worked. ?‍ Technician said the low voltage system sheds some items when voltage gets low but doesn’t always come back correctly when voltage drop is fixed.

Mine would stay on one Sirius channel now and then until you shut the car off. Since a new 12v battery I don't think it has happened yet.

It seems to happen a lot if I start the car and channel 100 is on (Howard).
The car jumps to channel 2 and then gets stuck.

I get turning off 100 Howard’s channel in case another driver takes the car like a child. I still would like to listen to what I paid for without interruption.

I have no personalization of the car as I am the only driver other than some radio channels.

Contact XM and have them refresh your signal

It dies go back on its own. This happens every 2-3 days. So annoying.

calling them every 2-3 days defeats the purpose of an on demand service fir which I pay a fee. Just happened again so a little bitter.

hopefully tomorrow it resets itself.
