First off I really like my 21 GTPE, it's been very reliable and just a joy to drive. The only issues I've had are the 5 second debacle, no cooled seats, and too small a heater. Other than that it's been great. I had the windshield replaced because a pheasant almost got to see the interior of the car. A local body shop replaced the windshield and everything seemed fine. Insurance said we should calibrate the front camera I believe, so I asked if that had been done. It hadn't been done, but he said bring it in we'll do it. Turns out they took it to another body shop that had the equipment. I happened to come by as he was doing it, said he was about done and later called and said he might have wiped some data on a module, said he needed to take to a dealer. Hopefully the attached invoice can be read, but the end result was I took in a car working perfectly and they ran up a $3700+ bill. I had been monitoring the 12v battery on FP (when we could) and it seemed to be holding up. During this whole episode we had gone on a long planned vacation so I couldn't take care of this the way I wanted to. I had brought the car in with about 30 some SOC, planning to up that some before letting it sit. There was some time involved also so I think the 12v suffered because no one charged it. I can't believe the dealer didn't charge it before they checked this stuff. The dealer was about 30 miles away, we got the car back with about 15% SOC. The good - since new the BC has read about every road that has markings except for a county road next to us and mostly one lane, now it reads it perfectly. The bad - the charging rate seems to have drastically changed. Busy season so I haven't been able to check out but today on a 50kwh charger that a 23 mache said he was at 43kwh I could only get 28. Another 50kwh, 34. Just to check I went to where there were two 120kwh chargers I got 60kwh. There was a rig on the other charger so maybe 60 is all I should have gotten, I would like someone to clarify that. I need to check on another charger someday, but before I've seen over the 150kwh rate max for a short while. Sorry for the long post, but I thought I saw something concerning slow charge rate after module work. Was this repair done correctly? I hope they weren't just throwing parts at it cause they didn't get the 12v up to charge. Thanks in advance.

You need to understand the characteristics of the chargers you’re using in order to determine if there is a problem.
For example, if the 120KW 2-station is a ChargePoint, you’ll never get more than about 60 KW due to its current limit. It can only supply 120 KW to a vehicle with 800V architecture.

A SuperCharger or known good EA station will give you a better idea.

Also would need to know how cold it is, what percent your battery was at when you tried to charge, etc.

Also says they replaced your 12v battery, so even if they drained your old one…well have a new one now.

I recommend charging it up to 100%, letting it sit overnight, then draining it down to ~20% before trying another DC charger. The software updates while being at low state of charge may have possibly messed up the pack balance, it might need some time at 100% to recalibrate and get a good SoC before it allows faster charging. Or there could be some other problem with the charger.

If it's still running slow, maybe send me your VIN so I can check for other issues.

BTW the charging rate is measured in kW (power), not kWh (energy).

Thanks for clarifying that, I guess I just did what you recommended since we had a long trip yesterday now I just need to get to a better charger. The 120kw charger was an EVGO.
