Yet, the warning is needed for all those drivers who ignore that snow, when run over, will get icy so they can slide off the road. Just think how many times you see them in the ditch because they would not slow down during the first snow falls of the year.
I’m pretty sure the type of people that ignore the weather conditions will also ignore the little orange light.

I really wish I could disable that warning. It is the most useless thing for a person that lives in a cold weather region.
It’s cold, I know, stop reminding me.

All of my previous cars have had this indicator for many years. It’s inoffensive and may remind some people that “black ice” conditions may exist.
Yes, black ice in terrain-caused shadows even on a "warm" Winter day when the pavement is otherwise clear and dry.

Ditto for bridges which can be cooled by a cold wind from below.

This has been available on some cars since at least the 1980s.

Yes. I’m sorry if I don’t have exactly the same opinion as you. Clearly not Rick-approved. And if you like to drive trash vehicles with duct tape, be my guest. The rest of us don’t like that.
The solution would be if Ford would allow more customization from the GUI. Some idiot lites (SSN, high beams on) should be “locked”. Others should be user-configurable.
Then the Mustang Mach E forum would be a much more pleasant and agreeable place ?

Sure. That would work. But here's another thought: if an OEM comes up with a feature or a twist on one and literally no other OEM copies them, chances are it is a useless feature.

My issue with the tone of the discussion on this forum is twofold: 1) people complain about Elon's butt kissers and don't self reflect on the fact that they themselves are being Henry's, and 2) there's a ton of "unless you think exactly like me, you are dumb", because you know they are the smartest guys in the room, or this forum's One Percenters (TM).

I appreciated the warning recently when I gained about 3000 feet in elevation. When I started out, it was 50-something but near the pass it got to 35 outside. Didn't realize the temperature change until I saw the warning. Caused me to be a bit more cautious going around blind corners that were in the shade.

All you need is an OBDII adapter that you can get for under $20 (assuming you already have a computer).
I may break down and do it this year I dont know. It’s the one thing I miss from my 21 J1, no snowflake.

But can we get a similar warning with a picture of a sun in the road that enables above 90 degrees to remind you that you don’t have ventilated seats?
