Hi folks, I'm wondering if there is someone in the group who could look up my VIN and see what my SoC was when I attempted to update this morning (07/14/25)? 3FMTK4SX3MME02439

I read the sticky and watched some videos about the software updates so what I did was:
1. I long-charged overnight, from 12am-4am. At 4:30am I attempted to update, but it failed saying "battery too low".
2. So then, I let my car run for just over 2 hours in the garage (idling, lights off, etc). But tried again, and same message

I went ahead and ordered an OBD2 dongle so I can use CarScanner in the future.

Thank you in advance!

I think there's a thread for that in this sub, but in the past I've been helped by @Mach-Lee

Good luck. I now use an OBD and Car Scanner to do it.

Having the exact same issue. SOC of 12V is over 75% but get same message regarding the update. However, my battery is 3 1/2 years old. Having it checked at dealer. Live in Vt, don’t want to go into next winter with current battery.

3 1/2 years on 2021 battery. Have almost 30,000 miles, think I will wait till when the recall is ready to be installed at dealer and get it all done at the same time.

75% sometimes isn’t enough especially if your battery is aged, get it above 85% and try again.
