From the menu, choose “<your name’s> Account”. The charge level shown there is that of the 12 VB.

It's easy with an account. Logon to your account and then open the profile menu again and select your account ("first name - account). This should be the top option. Let that page populate and you should see your tire pressure, charge level & est distance. The charge level is your 12V charge level.

If it is low, a simple way to charge the 12V battery is charge the car for several hours. Or, you can just turn on the car (not accessory mode) for an hour. To do this you have to turn off "auto-shutdown" in one of your sync menus. When you turn off the car, the mode will reset to the default setting. Just level your key fob in the car so it doesn't lock.

Even successful downloads can take several attempts to install correctly. I would give it another attempt tonight and see if any new messages show on your sync screen tomorrow morning. Good Luck!

Hi everyone. Newer Mach E owner here. Bought a 2023 back at the end of March. I’m trying to figure out the software update. My car keeps getting stuck on the software update page. I am connected to my home WiFi. I waited about 30 minutes and it never changed from this screen. Any advice? Thank you!

When it can't show me software update info it's because something software update related is running in the background.

Leave it 24 hours and you'll probably find it's back, perhaps even with an update notice.

(But some updates go on without a notice at all)

I have automatic updates on. I’ve tried connected to WiFi and disconnected and I still can’t get past the “getting the latest software updates status” screen. It says it will take a minute or so. But nothing happens. It just continues to load. Not sure why I can’t get it to go through.

WiFi is IRRELEVANT. Stop focusing on it, it won't make anything work any better.

Usually when you can’t get the updates screen it’s because you are not connected to the cellular network. You want to see the up and down “connected” arrows. Not seeing them in your photo. I’ve had this at various points. Seems to correct itself eventually…

I currently have the same issue as OP, can’t access the software update screen.

unfortunately my updates are only scheduled for Tuesday Wednesday Thursday so will likely need to wait until next week to see if it resolves.

Ford pass app keeps showing an update will install soon, in the mornings a notification that it didn’t.

AT&T Cellular connection is 100% the only way to install an OTA update.

Ford OTA servers use a checksum verification thru AT&T cellular to verify the install package is complete and not missing nor corrupted/hacked.

When I want my update to install, I park near an AT&T cell tower, set parking brakes lock it with the keyfob and leave it alone for a couple of hours.

I have mine scheduled for 1am. But I just checked and nothing happened. I still can’t access my screen. And my app is still telling me that an update is coming in 24 hours.

same here Brittany, I think the others are right it could self resolve over the next few days. Maybe it’s still not fully downloaded for either of us? Or stuck in a download loop or something…

Okay, after driving a bit and being in signal for a while (and a few sync resets) the software update screen finally loaded and I was able to install the update.

currently I can’t open the software updates screen again but I’m guessing it will resolve eventually

Yea, PTS shows the RFA update went through, but the DSP update failed due to some generic error. Nothing to worry about, IMO. It'll get resent hopefully sooner than later.
