Twice I had the 'not completed' screen for a month or more. It eventually completed. Why? No idea.

Me either.

Your dealer is wrong, but unfortunately your dealer can’t fix it either. They can force updates but can’t do anything as it’s a Ford server side issue.

If you have someone pull your VIN I would guess your version of your gateway module ends in “LKB.”

Thats a module from over a year ago and the dealer is unable to update it. It’s also the source of the stalled updates.

For the OP that’s stalled for the last month though, nothing to worry about.

Hi Ken, if you’d like further assistance regarding the updates, feel free to send us a private message with your VIN and local Ford dealer. Thank you!

Hi, I also have the same Gateway module version ending in LKB. I am currently stuck on 4.2.5 and I have a 2022 model year. I have made appointment at the dealer. Do you know any solution or what I should say to the dealer about this issue?

You can have your dealer force all available updates. For the 2022 model year it may fix it.

For my 2021, it doesn’t.

From what I’ve heard it’s a server side issue that Ford corporate has to fix manually behind the scenes. But it’s not something where you can just call Ford and make them do it.

In the last month a few people have had updates finally start back up again.

That's my case. I was stuck for a year due to a server side issue after the radio update. Then a month ago it started rolling again. I just received 6.3.0 yesterday, after a "update not completed" occurrence.
There are a few threads about this.
