No.... I've checked in ForScan and I have the first version (job1) and the BCM was not updated for this option.

Are you all updated and working now?

Mine’s also job 1 and, thinking back, I wonder if dealer updated things when they programmed the new keys they provided when programming them, if it was t already updated, who can tellšŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

Not yet, but called at the dealership and will update next week. They don't know yet if I have to pay or not...

Ah, good luckšŸ¤ž

I’d argue that if it ain’t working now due to programming or not connected then it never did and that must date back to the period when the car was still under warranty so should be covered.

Also, if car’s been in for servicing, especially if it’s service history is full, and this didn’t ever work, because it couldn’t work if due to programming, it was not checked & tested during servicing so still should be covered under warranty especially that failure to check during servicing amount to faulty workmanship.

One other thing, if car is fully serviced in accordance with maker’s specifications, play on that because you should reasonably be able to expect such issues that should be found in servicing are found and put right and yours clearly was not.

One last thing, often if a car is fully serviced, manufacturers will make goodwill offers to repair free or pay half towards costs but I’d be arguing it never worked because it couldn’t have done if due to programming so should have done and so should be put right now free of charge to you.

Good luckšŸ¤ž

They made me pay 210€ for this update, after 4:30 hours of them not knowing what is to be done. I will report them and ask for a fair price.
