Those are the Shelby styled GTs made for Hertz. They don't have a huge difference other than some carbon fiber styling, a different shaped hood, the branded stripes, and I think they have the Borla fake exhaust sound ($1600). I think you'll find that some of the other Shelby designed cars made for Hertz became collectors items in some circles. Having said that, I am not sure I want a Mach-E that has been abused like a rental car...

20 year old Shelby, will have the battery pop like a 2005 Macbook pro. lol
Some how I don't think many Ev's are going to have the same pinche that a carbureted 32 Coupe would. More so when trying to charge it becomes like trying to find that old Apple charger.

those prices are emblematic of why hertz' attempt at going electric was a colossal failure, they're ill informed at best.

And perhaps they will sell them all. I know I have no interest at all even if the prices were lower.

FYI The guys that tried to sell me the Shelby MME for $49k were not Hertz, they were the lot jockies at the place next door. I expected somewhere in the low $40k to be reasonable. Hopefully 10 years from now someone will want the 98 or so left over that weren't totaled, probably for $59k each
